Eucalyptus leaves and indigo - Feuilles d'eucalyptus et de l'indigo

July, 5^th, I posted this solar dyed cotton, with eco-printed eucalyptus leaves.

Le 5 juillet, j'ai posté ce coton avec des feuilles d'eucalyptus éco-imprimées, et teinture solaire.

 I decided to work more on this, and I made an indigo dyed. First dye was too dark, and the leaves had almost disappeared. So I washed it and let it dry in the sun. The indigo became much more clear, then I soaked again in the indigo vat, but only the upper side.

J'ai décidé de travailler plus sur ce tissu, et j'ai fait une teinture Indigo. Le premier bain était trop sombre et les feuilles avaient presque disparu. Alors je l'ai lavé et laissé sécher au soleil. L'Indigo est devenu beaucoup plus clair, et après j'ai trempé le tissu à nouveau dans la cuve d'Indigo, mais seulement la partie supérieure. 

 I think I'll keep working on this, maybe some slow stitching.

Je pense que je vais continuer à travailler sur cette pièce, peut-être avec 'slow stitching' (couture lente).

Iced iris - Fleurs d'iris congelées

here the results on solar dyeing with iced iris. I have worked the photo to get the real color of the fabric on it.
Voici les résultats sur la teinture solaire avec les fleurs d'iris congelées. J'ai dû retoucher la photo pour avoir la vraie couleur du tissu.

I used different mordants: symplocos, Alum + Tara powder, soya milk.

J'ai utilisé différents mordants: Symplocos, poudre d'alun + Tara, lait de soja.

Woven mandala - Mandala tissé

New circular woven mandala (28cm / 11'' diameter). Handspun wool, indigo dyed on wool, lace, and gauze.

Natural dyeing- Teintures naturelles

Some experiences with natural dyeing.

Mordanting with soya milk, symplocos, and alum +Tara powder.

Dyeing with iced iris, red onion peel.

Quelques expériences avec la teinture naturelle.

Mordançage avec lait de soja, Symplocos, et alun + poudre de Tara.

Teinture avec iris congelé, pelures d'oignon rouge.

Now, I'm waiting a few more days for the results on solar dyeing: eucalyptus, iced iris, indigo + yellow onion peel.

Maintenant, j'attends quelques jours de plus pour les résultats sur la teinture solaire: eucalyptus, fleurs d'iris congelées, Indigo + pelures d'oignon jaune.
